The Hypnosis Method we use to Treat Stress

Stage 1


Information Gathering


The first steps to combating stress and its related problems is to find out what is going on in your life.

In the privacy of our one on one session you can relax as we talk over how you are feeling, whether or not you are aware of the cause of the stress that is adversely affecting your life and any issues or situations that may be troubling you.

For many people this is the first time they have been able to talk freely and openly about this burden they are carrying, as it can be practically impossible to open up in this way to those close to you.

The information which you give to me at this time is essential in helping me to find the right hypnotic treatment for you.

I will then introduce you to Hypnosis first talking you through it and answering any questions you may have and then taking you into Clinical Hypnosis.



Stage 2




I will ask you to settle yourself down into a really comfortable position, once you are comfy I will begin guiding you into Hypnosis by means of talking you into a deeply relaxed state, using voice tone and placing emphasis on key words to help you enter this state easily. Once I feel you are ready I will begin to neutralise negative thoughts and feelings that have affected you.



Stage 3


Positive Suggestions


I will then flood your sub-conscious mind with strong positive suggestions about feeling good. Finding a deep inner peace and contentment, letting go of stress and worry and any other suggestions which are relevant to you and your situation.

I will ensure these beneficial beliefs and concepts encode deeply into your neurology and physiology making it easier for you to move forward into a happier calmer future.


Stage 4


Future Pacing


With the use of this technique we can take your memory forward in time, leaving images of you calm, relaxed and happy, as the person you would like to be, free from old limiting beliefs, stress and negative emotions.

Your sub-conscious mind can then accept this as the blueprint you wish to follow as your future lifestyle.



Stage 5




Visualisation is then used allowing your all powerful sub-conscious to accept and retain beliefs and ideas of you confidently living life the way you choose, feeling the way you want to. In control, confident, happy and stress free, not only now but way into the future.



Stage 6




Finally I will guide you back to a normal wakeful state, bringing with you all of the positive images and suggestions from the session.





At the end of your treatment session you will then be give  a free Stress Release CD which I have recorded for the use of my clients. Regular use of this CD will re-enforce the work we have done during the session, allowing you a period of calm relaxation everyday and helping you maintain a level of calmness through to our next session when we can continue to build on the work we have already done and move you forward to reclaim control of your life.
